Diploma of Marketing gives you the skills and know-how to engage and influence valuable customers, develop brand loyalty and execute strategic marketing campaigns.
This program has been specifically designed to provide graduates with a broad base of generalist marketing knowledge and skills suitable both for entry-level employment in marketing roles and/or as a platform for further specialised study at Bachelor level.
By completing a Diploma, you have the opportunity to move into a Bachelor of Business where you can specialise in Event Management, Marketing, Sports or Entrepreneurship.
This Diploma of Marketing is designed to integrate theory, practice and connection with each of these themes in turn representing distinct modes of thinking, enquiry and knowledge acquisition in relation to marketing. Students explore underpinning theoretical constructs that inform marketing practice; students engage in practice both in simulated marketing workplace roles and in operating businesses; and they reflect on feedback from industry mentors and assessors.
To be awarded the Diploma of Marketing students will need to complete 80 credit points over 8 subjects which comprises of 6 subjects at 100 level and 2 subjects at 200 level. All subjects are CORE, there are no elective subjects

DOMESTIC ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
To be eligible for admission you must satisfy one of the entry requirements below: Year 12 (or equivalent) OR Successful completion of a Higher Education qualification. OR Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4), or above. OR Work and Life Experience Entry Demonstrated skills and knowledge gained through paid or unpaid employment, formal learning and/or non-formal learning (presented on a current resume with attached cover letter).
GUARANTEED PATHWAY ENTRY Successful completion of the Diploma of Marketing with Torrens University Australia will guarantee entry into the 2nd year of our Bachelor of Business programs including the Bachelor of Business (Marketing).
INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
- Australia Year 12 or equivalent; and
- Academic IELTS 5.5 (no band less than 5.0) or equivalent.
